Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney has been dropped by Jose Mourinho as they prepare to face Leicester City at Old Trafford on Saturday.
The 30-year-old has come under significant criticism in recent weeks, as he has struggled to have a positive impact in the No.10 role behind Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Despite showing plenty of faith in him during that time, Mourinho has evidently decided that a change is now necessary and has gone with Marcus Rashford, Juan Mata and Jesse Lingard behind the Swede.
Having bounced back in midweek in the EFL Cup after losing three matches in eight days, the Portuguese tactician will hope that his side can now build up some momentum with a good run of results.
Meanwhile, the reigning Premier League champions have gone with plenty of pace and attacking threat with the likes of Riyad Mahrez, Islam Slimani and Jamie Vardy, and will hope to silence the Old Trafford faithful.
Man United XI: De Gea, Valencia, Smalling, Bailly, Blind, Pogba, Herrera, Rashford, Mata, Lingard, Ibrahimovic
Leicester City XI: Zieler, Simpson, Huth, Morgan, Fuchs, Mahrez, Drinkwater, Amartey, Albrighton, Slimani, Vardy
