Emre Can says the harmony in the Liverpool squad is behind their strong start to the season.
The Reds sit fourth in the current Premier League table, having won five of their opening seven games.
Jurgen Klopp’s side have lost just once – to Burnley – and are expected to challenge for a top-four spot at the very least.
Can, who is currently out through injury, has explained that the players are performing because of their relationships off the field.
“You can say it’s the secret – off the pitch, everybody is a nice guy in the club,” Can told Liverpool’s official website.
“Sometimes we go out for dinner and I think that’s very important.
“You can see that in the games, we are friends off the pitch. It’s very important.”
