Zambia Replace Injured Macha With Kola For Nigeria Clash

Kaizer Chiefs forward, Lewis Macha has finally pulled out of  Sunday's Russia 2018 World Cup qualifying fixture against Nigeria and has been replaced by Rogers Kola, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.

Macha,  who had been a major injury doubt for the clash against the Super Eagles as reported by Completesportsnigeria.com has failed to recover in time, prompting head coach of the side Wedson Nyirenda to extend invitation to Kola who plays for Israeli side, Hapoel Ra'anana, thus ending his two-year absence in national the team.

 

Meanwhile, seven out of the nine foreign- based professionals have joined the Chipolopolo camp in Ndola.

 

The players are captain Rainford Kalaba, Kennedy Mweene, Collins Mbesuma, Nathan Sinkala, Winston Kalengo, Kaboso Chongo and Rogers Kola.

The duo of Chisamba Lungu and Stopilla Sunzu are still being expected in camp.

The match is billed for the Levy Nwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.
