Philippe Coutinho is a doubt for Liverpool’s weekend clash with Southampton after being pictured at a hospital waiting for a scan.
The Brazilian played almost two full games for his country before flying back to England on Wednesday night.
Neither he nor Roberto Firmino trained on Thursday before Coutinho was spotted at the Spire Hospital.

Liverpool already have a major doubt over Adam Lallana, who limped out of England’s 2-2 draw with Spain with a groin injury.
If both players are ruled out, Jurgen Klopp will have to bring in both Georginio Wijnaldum and Daniel Sturridge to face the Saints.
