Henrik Larsson’s son attacked after Helsingborg relegated

Henrik Larsson’s son was attacked by Helsingborg hooligans after the Swedish club was relegated to the second tier.

Helsingborg, managed by Celtic legend Larsson, were beaten 2-1 (3-2 on aggregate) in a relegation play-off against Halmstads.

Larsson’s son, Jordan, had put Helsingborg 1-0 up on the night, before the visitors scored twice in the last five minutes.

And after the match, hooligans ran onto the pitch to confront the striker, stripping him of his shirt before punches are thrown.

Henrik Larsson later approached the fans himself, although he admits he didn’t see his son being attacked.
