Former El-Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri shot stopper Okey Okoegbo has disclosed to Felele247.com that he has been approached by Nigeria Professional Football League side Gombe United to bolster their goalkeeping department ahead for the new season.
The former Plateau United and Wikki Tourists goalkeeper disclosed in a telephone conversation that he had a meeting with the club management to discuss personal terms.
He further said that it will be a wonderful experience to play for Gombe United because the management is working round the clock to put everything in place ahead of the new season. Gombe United secured their promotion to the elite league after topping Group A2 of the Nigeria National League with 28 points from 14 matches.
