Plateau unoted players get cash boost

Felele247.com have scooped that Players of Nigeria Professional Football League side, Plateau United FC, Jos, are in high spirit ahead of their Sunday evening match day 5 encounter against Abia Warriors FC, after inspiring financial reward by the team management for picking a vital point away to Gombe United at the midweek.

The club management had before the match made a pledge of N1million to the players if they secure the maximum points but were on return to Jos on Wednesday gifted N500, 000, aside their match bonus, as prize for the draw.

Pius Henwan, new General Manager of the club, said the players need to be encouraged as they are performing well.

Henwan while speaking with Sportstalkafrica.com ahead of their Sunday home match against Abia Warriors sounded very optimistic that his players will continue their good form in the NPFL with the incentives.

He called on the fans to come out and fill up the Ram Pang Stadium, Jos, to cheer the team to victory over the high-flying Warriors from Umuahia.
