Nigeria set for Neymar Jr’s five

All is now set for the start of the latest five a- side football tournament in Nigeria, called Neymar Jr’s Five.

Coming to the Africa’s most populous football loving nation for the first time, Neymar Jr’s Five is sure to attract the country’s most talented street footballers.

The 2017 Nigeria qualification rounds will be held across 10 Locations, with two days of group stage qualifications before a final knock-out round for the top scoring teams.

Games are quick, fast paced, and each team will get to play at least twice in the group stages.

Nigeria’s National Champions will be flown out to play in the world final in July in Brazil, all-expense paid.

In two weeks, precisely on the 3rd of March, 2017, the Abuja leg kicks off in Utako and on the 20th of May, it rounds up in Lagos after moving through Ilorin and Port Harcourt.

The Port Harcourt edition will be played on March 10-12, 2017.
