Lobi Stars B team force TIKI TAKA to a draw

Ahead of  2017 Gothia Cup Lobi Stars reserve team held Tiki Taka football academy played 1-1 draw in a warm-up match played at the Aper Aku Stadium on Thursday.
Speaking to LOBI STARS MEDIA at the end of match Lobi Stars Technical Adviser Solomon Ogbeide commended the lads for their commitment and performance.
“It another avenue for the B team to prove to the technical crew that they are up to the task whenever they call up to play for the team”
Some of the players might feature for the main team before the season roundup”
Also commenting on the Lobi Stars B team performance against TIKI TAKA team is the head coach of the Pride of Benue Coach Evans Ogenyi
“The B team has improved a lot, we are working on some the lads to join the main team before the season end”.
It was a good match, they have shown a lot of commitment and they gave the Tiki Taka a lot of problem in the defence”

Tiki Taka will feature in this year’s Gothia Cup in Sweden in July 2017.
Gothia Cup is the world’s largest and most international youth football tournament. Each year, around 1600 teams from 80 nations take part and they play 4500 games on 110 fields.
Gothia Cup was first held in 1975. The tournament was started by the football associations BK Häcken, GAIS and a local newspaper but has been owned since the early 80’s entirely and solely by BK Häcken. Through the years, almost a million players from a total of 141 countries have participated in the tournament.
