We are on a revenge mission in Ilorin – Bala

Coach Abubakar Bala has said that Niger Tornadoes is working hard to get more points on the road in the second stanza of the 2016/2017 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

 
Bala elated over his side 3-0 bashing of MFM FC in Lokoja on match day 21 said that this is the mentality his players will adopt in Ilorin they confront Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) as well as the remaining matches of the season.
 
“Am happy that the players are adapting to our new philosophy and our mid-season signings have fitted into our plans.
 
“We are still a work in progress and we are going to maintain our focus as we won’t allow our current success derail our target. From the beginning of the season our target is to be among the 10 best team after the season and so far we are doing well”, he said.
 
The former FC Lokoja gaffer added he is Ilorin for business and that and that the last home match would not deceive them.
“We did not come to Ilorin for a jamboree, we are here to play football and that is exactly what we are going to do. I have warned the boys about ABS Ilorin, they are a good youthful side. I know we will give them a good fight.
“Our aim in Ilorin is not to leave empty hand am sure we will get a positive result at the end of 90 minutes on Sunday”, Bala asserted.
 
According to him, his players are up to the task and that he believes that they will put a smile on followers of the club.
 
In the reverse fixture played in Lokoja during the first stanza, the encounter ended 1-1; therefore Niger Tornadoes may see it as a revenge mission.
